Kylie Jenner postpones Christmas collection following Astroworld tragedy

It’s not coming this year.

Kylie Jenner has delayed the launch of her latest beauty line after the Astroworld tragedy that killed 10 people.

Kylie and her family have continued to be criticised online after posting “tone deaf” social media posts following the make up guru’s boyfriend’s concert.

For the past four years in a row, Kylie has launched a festive collection for her Kylie Cosmetics line on November 19th but has opted out this year in the wake of the tragedy.

While fans have been waiting for the release of this year’s make up collection, there has been no sign of the 2021 release and no word of when or if it will be brought out, which fans are suspecting is due to the events of Astroworld.

It has been reported that 10 people have died as a result of Travis Scott’s concert at the Astroworld festival in Houston, Texas when a crowd began to surge the stage and get crushed which led to hundreds of others being injured.

The youngest to pass away after the tragedy was only nine years old.

While Kylie has released a statement regarding the event, she has been quiet since on social media about it with her company only posting about her lip kits on Monday despite the holiday season approaching.

Fans are speculating on social media as to why the latest Kylie drop hasn’t landed yet this year.

One said on Twitter: “Kylie Jenner Christmas collection was set to drop today due to Travis Scott she can’t make any moves. Kylie cosmetics is suffering. If she drops this makeup line….. not a good look.”

Another said: “No one is going to buy your Christmas collection, don’t promote it. U have enough money, humble yourself, help those families that had a member die.”

A third wrote: “Wonder when Kylie Jenner will emerge from hiding. Even her makeup line is quite af atm.”

Despite posting about the lip kits for the first time in two weeks, the Kylie Cosmetics Instagram account has turned off its comments in the midst of the backlash Kylie has received.
