Have you ever wondered where Lady Gaga gets her inspiration from? The answer is pretty surprising. Apparently all Lady G needs to write a good song is a good melody and a bottle of Jameson whiskey. Yes, really.

The Mother of all Monsters has admitted that she writes her songs while drinking some of the famous Irish whiskey and that it even inspired some of her new songs.

“I have made so much of my music with Jameson. I’m not being paid a cent to advertise the whiskey – I should be. The whiskey has made my new songs,” said Gaga, speaking recently.

Gaga brought her Born This Way Ball tour to the Aviva stadium on Saturday night and during the show, she brought five fans up on stage with her to down a shot of Jameson straight from the bottle.

“I asked if they’re over 18 and if they’re not, there’s lots more illegal sh*t going on,” said Gaga, speaking about the stunt.

Gaga also invited the five fans and a few others to join her backstage after the show to continue drinking. We should probably mention that Gaga also revealed that she loves downing whiskey in a pub whenever she visits Ireland.

“I love it here in Ireland. I am usually always wasted down the back of a pun when I come to Ireland. You all know the truth about exactly how crazy I am. I’m usually huddled in a booth with a bottle of Jameson,” said Gaga.

“And people will come over and ask me, ‘Are you Lady Gaga?’ And I just say, ‘No, no, no.’ There’s such a free spirit here and some of the nicest people in the world,” she added.

Were you at Gaga last weekend? Do you think she put on an epic show?
