Lady Gaga Told to Lose Weight by Record Label?

Yesterday it was reported that Kelly Osbourne thought Lady Gaga was pregnant so it comes as no surprise that the singer is eager to lose a few pounds. But was it her own decision or that of her record label?

The ‘Poker Face’ songstress who has been spotted looking a little curvier than usual explained that her heavier frame was because she has been “eating pasta and pizza” at her father’s restaurant, not because she is expecting reported The Huffington Post earlier today.

Gaga usually sticks to a very strict diet during her tour but admits she has been indulging lately. During a recent radio interview she also confessed: “I’m dieting right now, because I gained, like, 25 pounds.”

Her desire to lose a bit of weight could also have something to do with her stage outfits. According to Radar Online, the 26 year old has been told to watch what she eats as her record label was forced to order better-fitting outfits for her. 

A source told the website: "The tight, skimpy outfits weren't doing anything for Gaga's new fuller figure, so Universal ordered more flattering and better fitting costumes for the rest of the tour."

They also added: "No one likes to criticize someone who has put on weight, but she has been showing some serious muffin top, especially when wearing tight suspenders... so they moved fast to nip it in the bud." Harsh much?

Although we don't think she needs to, we don’t reckon it will take long for Gaga to get back to her old shape, especially considering her new diet and the fact that she may have to dodge the poo being thrown at her by PETA!
