The series begins this Sunday.

Winter Love Island is just around the corner and it’s safe to say we’re excited for it.

Laura Whitmore will take on hosting duties this time around, and has opened up about how “supportive” Caroline Flack has been about her taking on the role.

Speaking to The Mail Online, Laura said: “She’s been incredibly gracious and supportive of me taking on the role for the winter series.

“She’s a brilliant host and I just hope that I can give the role the justice it deserves while she is taking some time off.”

Laura said that when she got the call to host the series, she was straight on to her boyfriend, Iain Stirling, to make sure he was comfortable with her taking on the job.

“When I initially got the call, I had a conversation with Iain. It’s his show,” she said. “I said, ‘How would you feel about it?’ We both agreed straight away.”
