“We come together to make a difference, for our little pieces of heaven that will never be forgotten.”

TOWIE star Lauren Goodger has launched a fundraiser in honour of her late baby daughter Lorena.

Despite having what she has called a “textbook” pregnancy, Lauren’s second child died shortly after birth a few months ago.

Now, the reality star will honour her memory and raise money the Lullaby Trust, a UK-based charity that raises awareness for sudden infant death syndrome. The organisation also offers emotional support for bereaved parents.

In a post on Instagram, Lauren shared a photo of her daughter’s hand and encouraged her social media followers to support the cause.

“Support me in Baby Loss Awareness Week (9-15th) as I mark the memory of my precious baby daughter Lorena, taken too soon, and in memory for all the other mothers, fathers, families, siblings and friends in grieving, who have also lost their most precious gifts,” she wrote.

She then paid tribute to baby Lorena.

“I am walking a Little Lights Walk this week to raise funds for The Lullaby Trust and in the memory of my baby girl, Lorena.”

Lauren then added: “RIP Lorena my little angel.”

Since losing Lorena, Lauren has been keeping her daughter’s memory alive. She got a tattoo in honour of her second daughter, and she also announced plans to write a book about the experience.

She shared recently that she feels like she is on the “road of recovery” after a very difficult few months.

In a post on Instagram, she wrote that she it taking “every bit of self-love” that she can get.
