Leinster Rugby Star Proposes to Childhood Sweetheart

Our hearts broke a little when we heard that Rob Kearney and his girlfriend of three years, Susie Amy, had split up but we’re all smiles again as another Leinster rugby player has popped the question to his other half.

It has been revealed that outhalf Johnny Sexton, who helped his side to a victory over Munster at the weekend, proposed to his childhood sweetheart Laura Priestly last month.

The private couple managed to keep their news a secret for a number of weeks but today the Irish Independent reported that they are the next from the team to tie the knot.

Laura, who is a secondary school teacher from Dublin, has been dating Johnny since the pair left school. How cute is that?
