If you keep up to date with life in celeb land, you’ll know that Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, who’s now known simply as Cheryl, turned 33 this week.
Rumours were floating around adhering to the fact that Liam had gifted Cheryl with a diamond ring but that’s not true.
Instead, he went the sentimental and really lovely route of donating money to Cheryl’s trust, the charity she established to “help young people realise their potential and get their lives back on track”.
Speaking about the gesture, a source close to the couple told Mail Online:
“She was over the moon, she thought it was a really lovely gesture. She’s already got everything she needs”.
Cheryl’s Trust, which works in conjunction with the Prince’s Trust, is currently building a youth centre in Newcastle, providing a place for teenagers and young adults suffering from drug and alcohol abuse.
It also seeks to help those who are homeless and others who may be experiencing mental health issues.
To celebrate her 33rd birthday, Cheryl and Liam dined with Kimberley Walsh, one of her best friends and former colleague in Girls Aloud, at Coya restaurant in London.
