Fair play Lily.
Nigel Farage is not a popular character right now.
This morning he announced his resignation as leader of the UK Independence Party.
Claiming that the Leave vote in last month’s EU referendum represents “the result we fought for so long to achieve”, the MEP has confirmed he will relinquish his duties at the head of the party, which has one seat in Westminster.

One of the last events Nigel Farage attended as leader of the Ukip party was at a dinner party on Sunday evening but the controversial politician wasn’t the only notable figure in attendance.
Singer Lily Allen was also there as was media mogul Rupert Murdoch.
The Smile singer is extremely active when it comes to political affairs, she was extremely outspoken during Gordon Brown’s tenure as Prime Minister, and the BRIT Award winner decided to live tweet the evening’s events as they unfolded.

In her next post, Allen had no problem referring to Nigel Farage, Rupert Murdoch and Liam Fox (former secretary who’s running for the leadership of the Tory party) as ‘wankers’.

Allen posted another video of Murdoch as he walks alongside his new wife Jerry Hall. Her message is self-explanatory.
