Actress Lindsay Lohan has been handed an additional 125 hours of community service after she tried to suggest time spent performing should count because she was “shadowed by younger people”.
Lohan was appearing in a revival of Speed The Plow in the West-End last October, where she was billed to complete her community service order with the CSV charity.
But according to TMZ, judges reviewing 125 hours of service by the actress, disputing her claims for service including hours logged for meet-and-greets, performances logged or times rounded-up so she would have time to travel to the theatre she was performing in.
Judge Mark Young called the hours claimed ‘unacceptable’ and has extended Lohan’s sentence, with a further hearing scheduled for March 12th.
Lohan’s lawyer, Shawn Holley said her client ‘doesn’t have a problem. with the increased hours because she is “enjoying doing community service. Her passion is really working with kids and kids really respond to her.”
Lohan was previously served 240 hours of community service following a conviction of reckless driving in 2012.
