Rumour surrounding their relationship has been rife for months.

Indeed, in recent weeks Jamie Redknapp has removed his wedding ring.

And now, Louise has confirmed to the Sunday Telegraph that she has indeed moved out of the sprawling marital home she and her husband of almost two decades until recently shared.

In the remarkably open interview, the former popstar admitted: “I have spent most of my life pleasing everyone else, worrying about being judged and thinking I should always do the right thing by staying at home, looking after my kids and my husband. I lost myself.”

She added that her experience is far from unique and that “a lot of women” go through similar when they get married and have children. Although she admitted that she wanted kids so much that she was happy to put “everything on hold for them”.

The 42-year-old also said that taking part in Strictly Come Dancing – she finished as runner-up – last year helped her to come out of her shell.

Louise described her decision to take part in Strictly as “the first selfish thing I’d done since my kids were born”.

Jamie and Louise have two children, Charley, 12, and Beau, nine.

Since the news broke that there was a strain on their marriage, it was suggested that her time on Strictly was at fault.

Ms Redknapp found fame with girl-group, Eternal, which she joined at aged just 16. By the age of 19, she and her bandmates had sold 10 million records.
