He may have released a statement earlier this week saying that he was separating from his wife but it seems that Robin Thicke is not giving up on his marriage just yet.
When questioned about how he was coping following the love split with childhood sweetheart Paula Patton, the Blurred Lines singer revealed to photographers that he was “just trying to win her back”. He later dedicated the song Lost Without U to the actress during a performance in Virginia, telling the audience that he was still hoping to salvage his relationship.
‘For y’all that don’t know, me and my wife separated, but I’m trying to get my girl back. She’s a good woman,’ he said.
According to the Daily Mail, several large bouquets of flowers were also delivered to Patton’s home yesterday so it appears that Thicke is going all out to mend the damage to his marriage.
It is believed that the Canadian singer’s flirtatious behaviour over the last few months contributed to Patton’s decision to end the relationship, with sources saying she was ’embarrassed’ by his on-stage antics with Miley Cyrus at the VMA’s and the infamous photo in which Thicke was caught groping socialite Lana Scolana.
