On-again-off-again rumour has surrounded their relationship for much of 2017.

However, it seems that Jamie and Louise Redknapp are over for good: they are due to officially divorce on Friday after almost two decades of marriage.

The couple has also reached an agreement regarding their two sons: Charley, 13, and Beau, nine. The boys are currently living with their dad, a former international footballer, at the family home in Surrey.

The Sun reports that their divorce case is listed to be heard by a judge at London’s Central Family Court.

Two months ago in an interview with the Sunday Telegraph, Louise, 43, confirmed that she’d moved out.

The former popstar stated: “I have spent most of my life pleasing everyone else, worrying about being judged and thinking I should always do the right thing by staying at home, looking after my kids and my husband. I lost myself.”

She also said that taking part in Strictly Come Dancing – she finished as runner-up in 2016 – helped her to come out of her shell and she described her decision to take part in the show as “the first selfish thing I’d done since my kids were born”.

Ms Redknapp, who found fame in the Nineties with girlband, Eternal, furthermore told ITV’s This Morning show earlier this year that “my priority and his priority is our children and protecting them and love them and putting them first and that’s what we are focusing”.

She and Jamie, 44, married during an intimate ceremony in Bermuda on June 29, 1998
