Love Island bosses hit back at Luca Bish’s Casa Amor claims

Oh, drama.

Love Island bosses have hit back after Luca Bish made some very interesting claims about Casa Amor.

During the show, Luca, who came second with girlfriend Gemma Owen, was criticised after he was seen encouraging the other boys to pursue the new girls who arrived at the villa during Casa Amor.

Speaking on Jamie Laing’s podcast Private Parts this week, Luca revealed that the producers of the show pushed the boys to purposely cause “chaos” as they went into Casa Amor, telling them: “Don’t f**k it up.”

He said on the podcast: “Not a lot of people know, we were standing there as boys—we got called to the outside of the villa—and before we went in, it was like ‘You lot are smashing it this year. The show is doing unbelievable! This is Casa Amor, don’t f*** it up’.

“I think every boy knew what that meant, hence why you had chaos the first two days or whatever with the boys.

“I went to the beach hut and it was like ‘come on, who do you fancy the most?’ and ‘why are the boys being such p***ies? They can’t bottle it now’.

“I was like ‘OK, I know what you’re saying’, went out there and called them a bunch of p***ies, told them you’ve got to do what you’ve got to do.”

An ITV spokesperson has since shut down his claims, saying in a statement to Metro: “There is no truth to these claims. The decisions made by the Islanders are their own.”

In other Love Island news, if you’ve missed seeing Gemma Owen on your screens every night, then fret not, as she may be making a comeback to TV.

According to reports, the Love Island star is apparently set to feature in a TV show that follows the lives of daughters of famous footballers, though as of right now, nothing has been confirmed.

A source told The Sun: “Lime are developing the concept now and ITV have shown a real interest in it. Gemma is top of their casting wish list.

“Her dad Michael is one of England’s most famous footballing stars and given her huge popularity since she appeared on Love Island – she is the person they want signed up.”
