Earlier this week, Amy Hart left the Love Island villa.

The 26-year-old felt her time in the villa had come to an end after four weeks on the screen and four weeks  of being romantically involved with fellow Islander, Curtis Pritchard.

However, as Curtis revealed he wasn’t interested in pursuing things further, Amy was left devastated by the heartbreak, revealing that she was on the verge of telling him she loved him before things blew up.

Explaining that the break-up with Curtis was a tough one, Amy explained that producers watched her closely and started to notice she wasn’t eating.

Speaking to The Sun Amy explained:

“I was very confused. I couldn’t eat, I lost six pounds.

“I felt so numb. I didn’t feel hungry…When I wouldn’t eat, they would stand over me and make me eat a bowl of food or I couldn’t do the challenges.”

Contining that she feels a lot better now, Amy still stands by her decision to leave when she did.

“I’ve given up a place that 130,000 people applied for but I had to leave as I wasn’t myself any more. I was in absolute despair.”

“I was grieving the loss of my first love, living in a house with him and watching one of my alleged friends get with him.”

Amy also thanked all of her fans for their support while she was in the villa.
