“So lucky and grateful…”

Dani Dyer and boyfriend Sammy Kimmence are expecting their first child together.

The couple, who have been dating since last year, announced the news on Instagram this afternoon.

Dani, who won the 2018 series of Love Island alongside ex Jack Fincham, wrote that she and Sammy are “so excited to start this next chapter in our lives.”

“Little bubba can’t believe you are going to be ours,” she wrote, alongside a photo of herself and Sammy holding an ultrasound scan.

“Me and Sammy are so excited to start this next chapter in our lives, feel so lucky and grateful..
2021.”

Dani and stockbroker Sammy reportedly split earlier this year, but the pair confirmed that they were indeed back together in April.

The 23-year-old recently told OK! that the alleged “split” just “wasn’t a thing.”

“We didn’t even really, it wasn’t even a thing. It just got made into a thing,” she said. “We’re really good, he’s my friend, he’s like my best mate…so it just works. We really get on he’s so easy. It’s been pretty chilled.”

Dani and Sammy originally dated prior to Dani’s appearance on Love Island, eventually getting back together following her split from fellow series winner Jack.

Jack, who recently became a father for the first time, split from Dani in early 2019 following a six month relationship.

At the time, he said that the pair “did try to make it work.”

“We will always care a lot for each other and have love for each other and I mean that from the bottom of my heart and I wish her nothing but happiness,” he said.

“We have some amazing memories together and have been through a lot but sometimes things aren’t meant to be and we really did try to make it work but it unfortunately it didn’t and that is life.”
