Love Island’s Laura Anderson responds to claims she cheated on Paul Knops

Love Island’s Laura Anderson has responded to the claims she cheated on her ex, Paul Knops, with new boyfriend Max Morely.

Laura and Paul were the runner-ups to this season of Love Island. However, in mid-September, the pair announced they had split.

Soon afterwards, she confirmed that she had moved on with Max.

The drama all began when Paul kind-of-sort-of hinted that there may have been an overlap between his relationship with Laura and her relationship with Max.

He was asked during an interview with FUBAR radio how he felt about her new relationship with the former Love Island winner.

He replied:

“Funnily enough, I read something that said she had been secretly dating him for quite a few weeks and after we split up, I think that was about 3 weeks after I read that.

“I don’t know if she had. I really don’t know. I mean, it’s fine. I made the decision so essentially if she goes and meets someone the next day, she’s entitled to. You know?”

However, a spokesperson for Laura branded the claims that she had cheated as “total nonsense”.

In a statement to MailOnline, they said:

“It’s total nonsense, Paul broke up with her and weeks later she spoke to Max and then weeks after that they met up.”

Paul also claimed during the interview that he and Laura are now in a  “good place” after their split.

He continued:

“You know everybody wanted to know what was going on with us afterwards.

“You know we had a bit of a funny five minutes, but we’ve spoken since then and if we see each other at events we say hi and see how each other are.”

Somehow, we think that may not be the case after this…
