Love Island’s Maura Higgins has weighed in on that epic row with Tom Walker.
In case you need a refresher, the couple had been given the keys to the villa’s Hideaway.
But just as they were getting ready to leave, Maura overheard Tom wondering aloud whether she was “all mouth” to the boys – and she was, understandably, furious.
She refused to spend the night with him in the villa’s luxury private bedroom, with her reaction to his comment basically cementing her as a fan-favourite among viewers.
Speaking at the launch of tanning brand Bellamianta’s latest products, Maura emphasised the importance of women standing up to slut-shaming – and that the comment had been “out of order.”
Discussing the confrontation with Tom, she told Her:
“Just because a woman is talking about sex, doesn’t mean…like, I was never going to go into the hideaway and sleep with him. I barely knew the guy.
“Making that horrible comment and assumption was just out of order.”
The fan-favourite Love Island contestant also revealed the one Irish thing she missed the most while in the villa – and the Islander who she would unfollow on Instagram if she had the chance.
The 28-year-old was in Dublin on Thursday night to celebrate the newly-released must-haves from tanning brand Bellamianta.
