Love Island’s Zara says she is ‘very much single’ amidst Olly Murs romance rumours

Zara McDermott has said that she is "very much single" amidst Olly Murs romance rumours. The Love Island contestant and the former X Factor star had been said to be seeing each other after meeting on a night out in Essex. Apparently, the pair had "real chemistry" and were struggling to remain just friends.  God bless. https://www.instagram.com/p/BwET5sAnAAh/ However, Zara has since quashed all of these Olly relationship rumours by stating that she is, indeed, still single. Taking to Instagram, she wrote:

"I don't usually comment on things but how can the media 'confirm' something that I've never even confirmed myself? "For anyone that actually cares, just to be clear, I'm very much single and not dating anyone at the moment."

She then included a face with hearts emoji. Now, Zara's statement may seem pretty clear cut. And it is - she's single and not dating anybody. But, does this entirely rule out the prospect that she and Olly are having a bit of a casual fling that may eventually develop into something a lot more serious? Or is the singer/presenter just hung up on her and she's not having it all and (rightly) presumes that the only way to distance herself from such potentially damaging rumours is to address it on her IG Stories? The pair dated for about a year before she went into the ITV villa, and have since seemed to have rekindled their romance on a day out in London. “Dani couldn’t keep her hands off him and the feeling was clearly totally mutual – they kissed for ages before heading off as a group," said someone who was there witnessing the scene, probably.
