What did he do, though?

Lads, the amount of rumours going around on Twitter. Nobody knows for sure why Sherif has been kicked off Love Island. According to a statement, he broke the rules, but which rule is the question.

Sherif’s mum has now spoken out about the whole ordeal, saying that her son is a “lovely man,” and that she doesn’t actually know if he did anything wrong yet.

According to the MailOnline, Sherif’s mam said: “I don’t know the real reason yet, but I’m determined to get to the bottom of it.

“I don’t know if he has actually done anything wrong yet. I need to look at his Love Island code of conduct and I need to speak to him properly to find out what really happened.

“But I’m his mum, I’m going to think it was a bit unfair. I think so. I’m going to defend my son.”

She added: “He is a lovely, lovely young man, a great boy. He is not a fame chaser. He was not looking for fame.”

After the news broke this afternoon, Sherif made a statement saying that he will learn from his actions.

“In a case of poor judgement, I broke the villa rules and as a result agreed with the producers that it was best for me to leave the villa,” he said.

“I regret that I didn’t conduct myself in the right way and, as a 20 year old guy, it’s something I know I will take on board and learn from. I really enjoyed my time in the villa and look forward to catching up with everyone on the outside.”

Sherif entered the villa with the rest of the original contestants on the show’s first day last week.

He coupled up with Anna and the pair had since decided that they were going to get to know each other better.

Sherif was saved from the first dumping by the pharmacist last Friday.

It is not yet known what caused him to be removed from the villa.
