Pretty Little Liars’ Lucy Hale had an amazing response to a Twitter troll who called her “anorexic”.
It all started when the actress shared a photo of herself, alongside a quote from the movie Poltergeist.

One social media user in particular decided to voice his unprompted thoughts on the 28 year old’s weight.
The person, who goes by Teddy Forte online, said:
“No straight men are signing off on that anorexic look.
“That’s for gay guys & fashionistas, we want you to please eat a hamburger.”

The Pretty Little Liars star, who has been open about her past struggles with an eating disorder, was quick to shut him down with a series of tweets.
She wrote:
“I am disgusted that a man would even think of saying these absolutely awful words to a woman. You should be ashamed of yourself.
“As someone who used to struggle with anorexia, I don’t take these comments lightly. I’m healthy and happy and you don’t know me.
“So keep your repulsive comments to yourself.”

And when the user responded with a “Neat” dripping with sarcasm, the singer came back with one more quip.
She said:
“Just another insecure man hiding behind a computer screen. Boy BYE.”

But fans were quick to remind Teddy Forte that nobody is obligated to look a certain way to make someone else happy, as they praised Lucy for standing up for herself.
