The 'McConnaissance' reached new heights this week when Matthew McConaughey received a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame in recognition of his contribution to acting.
The
Dallas Buyers Club star was accompanied by
Interstellar co-stars Anne Hathaway and Jessica Chastain to the ceremony but it was his family that garnered the most attention during the momentous occasion.
McConaughey's wife Camila Alves and his three children, Livingston (2), Levi (6) and Vida (4), proudly posed for photos with the actor, with the family looking very chic in Dolce And Gabbana.
The 45-year-old also spoke about his enduring love for his work, saying "I feel it's a privilege every single day".
"I'm proud to be able to say that. I have a career that on a Monday morning I look forward to getting up and going to work.
"This industry has given me a lot, a chance to live out some dreams I didn't even know I had, dreams I'm still finding along the way. What other business can you go and live them out but this storytelling business? Let's keep telling great stories, let's keep entertaining. Let's keep putting something out there that matters, is original and is just plain fun."
