Maura Higgins has hit back at online trolls who accused her of editing her abs in a recent Instagram post.
While many people were in awe of how incredible the 31-year-old looked, others were quick to say she had photoshopped her stomach to give herself a more toned physique.
In the photo captioned “Colourful evening”, the former Love Island star rocked a black crop top and pink silky pants.

“Nahhh my DMs are full… ‘too much photoshop’. Proud to say no hunnies this is me and my raw camera roll from last night,” she said as she scrolled through a screen recorded video of her camera roll and compared them to the photo she had posted.
“Just brightened and sharpened,” she said. “Sue me.”
The star then followed up the video with a quote that read “You can always tell who the strong women are. They are the ones you see building one another up, instead of tearing each other down.”
Despite the criticism from some, many friends and fans were quick to praise Maura for her gorgeous look.
“No I’m obsessed,” her former Love Island co-star Molly Mae Hague wrote. “Can’t wait to steal this outfit.”
“Out of this world,” Shauna Lindsay said.
“Omg unreal,” said Terrie McEvoy.
Maura recently split from Strictly Come Dancing’s Giovanni Pernice after a seven-month long relationship. The star has since been embracing single life.
Giovanni confirmed the news on Twitter last month, explaining that there had been no wrongdoing as the pair had been very public about their relationship.
He added that the split was very amicable with the two still being on good terms and that “great relationships with great people can come to a natural end”.
Giovanni and his partner Rose Ayling-Ellis are currently favourites to win the this year’s Strictly Come Dancing.
