Irish screen icon Maureen O’Hara is selling off her Co Cork home it has been revealed this week.
The home of the legendary Irish actress has gone up for sale for €2.3 million in the Cork town of Glengarriff. The 94-year-old Dublin-born star is now based in the US and was listed as a recipient of an honorary Oscar earlier this year.
The Cork house, which The Quiet Man star has owned since 1970, is situated on 35 acres, and boasts a guest cottage, a private beach, two islands and other outbuildings.
