How is Meghan Markle doing ahead of the birth of her first child?

Baby Sussex is just around the corner.

And while friends and family of Meghan Markle are by her side in the lead up to her birth, it seems like her hopes of having an at-home delivery may be dashed.

Many believe that the Duchess is overdue, with some saying that if she doesn’t give birth over the next few days, she may need to be induced in hospital.

According to the Mail on Sunday, Meghan will likely give birth at Frimley Park Hospital in Surrey.

Obstetrician Clive Spence-Jones, of the Whittington Hospital in North London, said: “A recent study found that women over 36 should consider induction around their due date, as they are at higher risk.”

“After induction there are more opportunities for medical intervention to be needed during labour, so home birth is not recommended.”

However, apart from that it is believed that Meghan is “comfortable and happy” in the lead up to her little one’s arrival and “getting plenty of fresh air in the garden” of Frogmore House.
