Now, the couple - who celebrate their first wedding anniversary later this month - have shared the first glimpse at their little boy.
In a photo call today at St. George's Hall in Windsor Castle, Meghan told press that she has "the two best guys in the world."
Talking about what it was like to become a mum, she said:
"It's magic, it's pretty amazing, and I have the two best guys in the world so I'm really happy."The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are said to have had a private photocall with a small number of media organisations to capture the first images of their son to share with the world. Meghan Markle, a former Hollywood actress, married Prince Harry in May 2018 after a whirlwind romance. Harry proposed to the Suits star in November 2017 after 15 months of dating with a stunning three stone ring that includes two diamonds from Princess Diana's personal jewellery collection. They shared the news that they were expecting their first child in October of last year after arriving in Australia to undertake a joint royal tour. At the time, they said:
"Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019. Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public".
