Meghan Markle has given a rare update on how baby Archie is doing in Canada.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced in January that they intended to step back as senior members of the royal family.

They recently returned to the UK to complete their final duties as senior members of the royal family, before returning to North America.

During their appearance at the Endeavour Fund Awards in London on Thursday, Meghan gave a fellow attendee an update on how 10-month-old Archie – who is being looked after by his nanny in Canada – is doing.

“She said ‘oh yes, well he is ten months now and is into everything,'” Claire Spencer recalled to Hello! of her conversation with the Duchess of Sussex.

It comes after a royal insider recently gave another update into how baby Archie is doing.

“They are creating a better world for Archie. And it’s Archie who keeps them focused on the big picture,” the source – said to be a friend of the couple’s – told the Daily Mail

They added that Archie “already has a big personality, like his daddy” and is “curious about every little thing.”

“He has the absolute, most adorable giggle. He’s just pure love and joy,” they explained.

The couple are said to have become “real homebodies” since stepping back from royal life earlier this year.

“They are besotted and very sweet with each other,” an insider previously told PEOPLE of the pair, who are said to call each other ‘H’ and ‘M’.

The source – who is said to be someone within the Sussexes’ circle – added that Meghan and Harry are “are trying to live their life as regular parents.”

“Archie is the priority. It’s very much still about taking care of him and putting the family first,” they explained. “He’s a happy kid—he loves to laugh. Archie and Harry have such a good time together. And Meghan is a great mom. She’s very much about tending to him.”

Otherwise, the couple are said to spend their time relaxing indoors or hiking near their home on Vancouver Island.

“They are real homebodies who love to chill out with Archie and the dogs,” they added.
