Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly looking at eaving their home at Kensington Palace – and looking at moving outside the royal grounds altogether.

The couple, who are expecting their first child in Spring 2019, currently live in Nottingham Cottage.

It’s the same place where Prince Harry lived when he was single, and was where he first popped the question to Meghan.

But with their impending arrival, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are reportedly looking for a larger property for their family.

While Kensington Palace isn’t short of stunning accommodation – Prince William and Kate Middleton also live on the grounds, in a 20-room apartment – Meghan and Harry are said to be looking elsewhere for their new home.

Namely, away from the Palace.

A royal insider told the Daily Mail

“Harry and Meghan want to move, and need more space, but they don’t want to live next door to William and Catherine.

“They will soon have separate offices and separate lives, so it would make sense for them to live further afield.

“There is no reason why their London home has to be at Kensington Palace. There are plenty of other options, including using their own money to buy their own place.”

It comes as there have been numerous reports Prince William and Prince Harry would  be making a formal division between their estates and duties.

The royal brothers currently share a joint household. But this is reportedly going to change following the birth of the Sussex’s first child next year.

The decision is said to be due to the fact that the Princes each now have their own families, as well as different responsibilities.
