It’s not a fashion choice, it’s literally so royal handlers can identify who owns what suitcase.
The Queen’s colour is bright yellow, with her title clearly displayed in old writing.
Prince William has red tags, while his wife, Kate Middleton, uses a different shade of yellow to The Queen.
Princess Anne’s tags are green, while Prince Philip uses red and Prince George uses blue.
