Michael Bublé has finally responded to being in THAT Christmas meme

Keeley Ryan

The lead up to Christmas basically guarantees a few things.

There’s going to be twinkling lights; mistletoe and mulled wine…as well as the Michael Bublé Christmas album basically on repeat beginning on November 1.

The Canadian singer has become so synonymous with the holiday season over the last few years that he has been turned into a meme – one that we can all but guarantee has surfaced on your Facebook, Twitter or Instagram feeds at least once.

It shows Bublé hurriedly rushing out of a cave in time for Christmas.

The singer appeared on Friday night’s The Graham Norton Show – and didn’t seem to be too impressed when Graham shared the meme with fellow guests Carey Mulligan and Taron Egerton.

He deadpanned:

“You notice I don’t find that as funny as everybody else?

“Do you know how many asshole friends I have that think that I haven’t [seen it] and send me it and go, ‘Look at the meme they have!’

“I promise you, I get it and I think I hate you.”

And when Graham pointed out that “it’s obviously a very good Christmas album,” Bublé  pointed out that becoming a living meme has created a particularly bizarre issue.

He jokingly complained:

“Now there are people who really think that I live in a cave. There really are!”
