Miley Cyrus has revealed that she refuses to shop in designer stores on LA's Rodeo Drive as she is treated so badly by shop assistants.
Despite being worth an estimated $185 million, the Wrecking Ball singer says that staff at high-end stores are rude to her and compared her experience to that of Julia Roberts' character in Pretty Woman.
"You've seen Pretty Woman, obviously. Well, they are actually like that. If you walk in, they give you the worst look you've ever seen, and I am too outspoken to deal with those kinds of people," she said.
The former Hannah Montana star told Style Magazine that she knows people are judging her "a lot of the time" but she refuses "to be a certain way, or dress a certain way".
She also revealed that she doesn't use a make-up artist as she is a "control freak" about her appearance.
"I do my own because [otherwise] you sit in a chair and then, all of a sudden, you come out and you're not you any more. That freaks me out. I'm a little bit of a control freak, I guess."
