To be fair, it wasn’t the best idea.
Millie Mackintosh has come under fire from fans regarding a photo she posted to support Anti-Slavery Day.
Former Made in Chelsea star Millie was showing how she supported the good cause by sporting a special tie designed by Beluah London for the occasion.
In honour of #AntiSlaveryDay we have launched our #BlessItForward silk ties block printed by victims of trafficking https://t.co/3ELCaWkS50 pic.twitter.com/qWQ5ySRESd

That sounds like a thoughtful thing to do but unfortunately, the post included a Chanel bag, a fact some Instagram users took issue with.
Millie attached her #BlessItForward Beluah tie to the embroidered Chanel Bag and unsurprisingly, it has attracted some negative feedback.
in the caption accompanying the post, which has since been deleted, Millie wrote:
“Each tie has been block printed and sewn by vulnerable and trafficked women in Kolkata, providing them with a sustainable, alternative livelihood and chance to rebuild their lives in collaboration with #KeyToFreedom”.
Comments on the post included:
“Anti-slavery scarf on a Chanel…ironic”.
Someone else wrote:
“Unfollowing this idiot”.
The post has since been removed from Millie’s Instagram account which would suggest she saw the irony of the post.
It’s safe to say people aren’t impressed.
