Fans of Molly Mae Hague have defended her after she wore white to her friend’s wedding.
The mum shared beautiful photos from her friend’s wedding over the weekend but people were quick to jump to conclusions over Molly’s outfit. The influencer was pictured in a long white gown, which didn’t sit well with many people.
It was the bride’s special day and she could’ve dressed her bridesmaids in Adidas tracksuits for all we care, but the trolls were quick to judge her decision.
“Personal choice for the bride what she wants her bridesmaids in but personal opinion putting them in such a beautiful practically bridal dress has upstaged the bride,” another said.
Many claimed Molly was outshining the bride on her special day, but her followers quickly shut the trolls down. Wearing white on your wedding day may be a timely tradition, but one follower pointed out that bridesmaids dressing in white are also a historic tradition.
One said: “It’s actually a historic tradition for bridesmaids to wear white – it was to confuse evil spirits and protect the bride on her wedding day.”

Molly was joined by her long-term partner Tommy Fury and their baby girl Bambi. The family flew to Barbados for her agent Francesca Britton’s wedding day.
