We may give out about them but we love our men so it makes sense to take one day out of the year to celebrate the contribution they make to our lives.
International Men’s Day takes place on Wednesday November 19th and Pieta House is hosting a very special event at the Powerscourt Theatre to mark the occasion, with music, discussion and plenty of manter (male banter, obvs).
With Men In Mind will kick off with a drinks reception at 6.30pm, followed by a panel discussion with author Michael Harding, Dublin footballer Paul Flynn, Men’s Sheds Ireland founder John Evoy, Pieta House therapist John Searson and MC Brendan O’Connor.
With drinks from Brú Brewery and snacks from Keogh’s Crisps, this is a ‘male only’ night so if you’d like to get himself off the couch and out for the evening, send these details his way!
