Music Star Macklemore Confirms Birth of Daughter

Music star Macklemore has confirmed that he has added a new title to his name: dad. The singer (whose real name is Ben Haggerty) and his other half Tricia Davis welcomed a baby girl at the end of May. Macklemore and Tricia are parents to a baby girl. He only confirmed the news on his website this week as he announced a new song, featuring Ed Sheeran, dedicated to the new arrival. The post read: “Our daughter, Sloane Ava Simone Haggerty, was born two months ago on May 29th.” The music star wrote a song for the new arrival. He added: “There is nothing like the joy and happiness that comes from brining a baby into this universe. “She has filled my heart in ways that I never knew were possible. She is the love of my life. This song is for her.”
