Nick Lachey Hasn’t Spoken To Jessica Simpson In Six Years – He’s Still Talking About Her

Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey were married what seems like light years ago, but the pair did win us over with their reality show Newlyweds. However, following their break up, the pair went their separate ways and has not really been in contact since.

That did not stop Nick Lachey having a pop at her family on Andy Cohen show, Watch What Happens Live. On top of that, not too long ago Lachey was having a go at Kim Kardashian for using their relationship for publicity. Hello pot, this is your friend, the kettle.

Simpson’s parents announced not too long ago that they were going their separate ways, and rumours that her father, Joe Simpson, had come out to the family began making the rounds.

When asked on the show what was the best part about not having Joe as a father in law, Lachey replied: “I don’t have to play grab-ass under the table on Easter Sunday.”

When asked about Jessica, Nick commented that he hadn’t spoken to her in six years and: "As you can imagine, [Newlyweds is] not popular viewing in my house. We don't sit around as a family and watch the old DVDs.”
