An excellent cause.
Irish actress Nicola Coughlan is raffling off her wrap gift from season two of Bridgerton in order to raise money for the LauraLynne Foundation.
Nicola, who plays Penelope Featherington in the hugely popular Netflix show, works as an ambassador for LauraLynne, which is Ireland’s only hospice for children.
Addressing fans from her trailer as she films the third season of Bridgerton, Nicola explained that she wanted to team up with the foundation and raffle off a souvenir that would be of interest to Bridgerton fans. In the end, she decided to donate a gift that was given to her as they wrapped up filming on season two – an elegant bag that is signed by every member of the Bridgerton cast.

In a video posted on Instagram, she said: “I’m coming to you today with some very exciting news. Some of you may know, I am an ambassador for LauraLynne which is Ireland’s only children’s hospice, and they only receive 30% of their funding from the government. Everything else is fundraising. And I thought, because it’s Christmas, why not give them something to raffle off that might be of interest to Bridgerton fans.
“What I have given them is my wrap gift from season two of Bridgerton. It is a beautiful bag that will fit all of your things. And what is exciting about it is that it is signed by the entire cast of Bridgerton. We’re going to raffle it today, you can enter it from anywhere in the world. And the more entries you buy, the more chances you have of winning.”
All funds raised from the raffle will go towards the LauraLynne Foundation, who provide care and support for children with life-limiting conditions, as well as their families.
