Nicolas Cage called a halt to filming his latest movie this week, when he was asked by a desperate father to help find his missing step-daughter.
Britt Ramsay from Cleveland, Ohio knew the Hollywood actor was filming nearby, and desperate to bring media attention to his missing daughter’s case, snuck onset with her ‘missing’ poster.
15-year-old Alexis Boroviak has been missing for 11 days, and her ‘missing person’ campaign was falling flat and losing momentum.
That’s when Ramsay decided to break security and go on-set.
Cage stepped out from filming his upcoming movie “Dog Eat Dog” and met with the distressed father – who says Nic was warm, offered his condolences and offered to help in any way possible.
Holding up her poster, Ramsay posted the picture to Facebook:

Alexis’ missing person report has since been picked up by media across the US, including contact information for anonymous tip-offs.
