Prince William has reportedly asked Ed Sheeran not to do another duet with Wayne Rooney.
The Prince met the chart-topping singer during the Royal Variety Performance and reportedly stated, jokingly, “Er, no more duets with Wayne Rooney.”
Wayne and Ed paired up after one of Ed’s gigs in Manchester and the footballer joined Ed for a singsong after in the pub. The two gave customers in the bar a lively rendition of Lego House.
“Chris Smalling, Wretch 32 and Example were there, as well as our mates – we had a lock in until 4am,” Ed told The Mirror. “He (Prince William) knew something about all the people he met before me – it’s an amazing skill,” Ed continued. “I was like, ‘Thanks for having me, mate. Nice one.”
