This is wrecking our heads.
Josh and Wes should release a book titled “The One Line to Tell Your Friends to Make Them Doubt Their Relationship Instantly“. TBH, it would be a bestseller since this line seems to work SO well.
We are talking about the painful phrase: “You’re happy… but you could be happier”.
Like what is this about? Honestly?
Last night we saw “new” Jack admit that he is happy with Laura but he could be happier with someone else… like can someone please explain this logic because if we were getting dumped and this was the line being used, we would take it that you’re UNhappy if you’re leaving, no?
And last night, Josh repeated what Jack and Wes were echoing again by saying:
“You and Laura are happy… but you could be happier.”
Like… are you not happy just being happy? And if you’re not happy then admit it!!! And it appears that this line is really pissing people off (besides us)…
This whole ‘I’m happy but I could be happier’ thing is toxic af and I hope everyone watching who thinks it’s a good idea realises it will end with you old and lonely having pushed away everyone decent because you erroneously think you can do better #LoveIsland

Right this whole “I’m happy but I could be happier with someone else” line is pissing me off. If everyone had that mentality no one in this world would have settled. #LoveIsland

Imagine if girls were prone to this ‘I’m happy but I could be happier’ ??? Soooo many relationships would end. THE GRASS ISNT ALWAYS GREENER X #LoveIsland

We feel you. This line in our opinion is just utter bullsh*t, said by someone who is too scared to admit the truth, whatever that may be. You’re either happy and comitted or you’re not. If you want to look elsewhere then do but don’t leave the girl in a minf*ck believing that you think everything was perfect and yet still wanted out.
Can you tell Love Island is getting to us? We’re sooo deeply invested now.
