With a new album, Everyday Life, to promote, Chris Martin has recently been speaking about the future of the band and it's noticeable that he has been coy when asked about the potential of an upcoming tour.
In an interview with BBC Breakfast, Martin has confirmed that Coldplay will not be touring their latest album due to concerns over the environmental impact of their concerts.
"We're taking time to see how our tour can be actively beneficial. All of us have to work out the best way of doing our job," he said, before adding that he wanted Coldplay's future tours to "have a positive impact".

The band last toured the world with their A Head Full of Dreams Tour, which saw them stage 122 shows across four continents in 2016 and 2017, including Croke Park.
"Our next tour will be the best possible version of a tour like that environmentally. We would be disappointed if it's not carbon neutral. We've done a lot of big tours at this point. How do we turn it around so it's no so much taking as giving?," said Martin.
In recent weeks, the 'Yellow' and 'Fix You' singer has been cryptic about any potential Coldplay tours in the future.
During another interview with Will Manning on The Official Big Top 40, meanwhile, Martin was asked about recent comments about not doing much press to promote the release of Coldplay's latest album.
"Yes, we're not doing very much talking or touring, or anything," he said.
Asked directly if the band would be hitting the road again, Martin responded: "That is a question that I don't know how to answer, Will. Is that ok? I would just take that as whatever you want to take it as. I promise that we want to play live at some point in the future history of the world."
