We’re used to hearing about One Direction tickets selling out in a matter of seconds.

But it is now being reported that the band have had to put on offers in order to fill the stadiums for their current tour.

According to reports the group basically had a buy one, get one free offer for fans in the US and they still haven’t sold out.

One Direction have had a number of successful tours.

It seems there are still tickets available for all 17 of their shows across the Atlantic. (All of the UK dates have sold out.)

A representative for Harry Styles and co played down the claims, telling MailOnline: “This promotion was part of the Honda tour sponsorship deal.

“All artists offer ticket promotions for fans, so there is no story here. One Direction have phenomenally sold over 2 million concert tickets on this tour already.”
