'Trying to find their feet': There's a new development in the Kate and Meghan feud narrative

Talk about Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle’s alleged feud has been inescapable in the past few weeks and Kensington Palace has had enough.

Speculation that the two do not get on has been rife after a number of stories about their relationship appeared in UK papers over the past few weeks.

Now the team at the palace is said to be trying to root out exactly where the leaks are coming from.

Prince Harry has tasked his staff with a ‘mole hunt’ in a bid to identify who is sharing the “unfavourable reports” with the press, according to The Mail On Sunday.

Rumours of a feud began when it was confirmed last month that Meghan and Harry were moving from their home at Kensington Palace, which they share with William and Kate, to a cottage in Windsor as they await the arrival of their first baby.

Among the stories that have appeared in the press include the one that Kate put Meghan back in her place after Meghan gave one of Kate’s staff members a “b*****king”.

The palace flatly denied the story, stating to The Mirror: “this never happened”

A new report yesterday stated that Meghan is aware of the stories and believes the media is out to get her.

“Meghan is a believer in karma and she doesn’t want to sit there reading negative online stories and comments about herself,” the insider told Vanity Fair.

“She feels to a degree the British press is out to get her and while she’s aware of the news and what’s going on, she tries her best not to read all the stories about her.”
