Paris Jackson, the 15-year-old daughter of singer Michael Jackson, has been rushed to hospital following a suspected suicide attempt.
The teen was taken from her family home in California at around 2am this morning by stretcher, and was rushed by ambulance to a nearby hospital.
According to TMZ, a 911 call was placed at 1.27am, with the caller reporting a possible overdose, although a source connected to the emergency response said there were multiple cuts on one of her wrists.
On Tuesday night Paris posted some cryptic messages on her Twitter account, including, "I wonder why tears are salty?" and the song lyrics "yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away now it looks as though they're here to stay."
Entertainment Tonight reports that Paris’ mother, Debbie Rowe, confirmed to the network that the teen had attempted suicide, saying she had “a lot going on” lately.
Recent reports say the teen is in recovery, and “doing ok”.
