Ah lads, relax.

Today, the lovely Princess Charlotte celebrates her fourth birthday.

Where does the time go, eh?

Anyway, in typical royal fashion, Kensington Palace released three beautiful new portraits of the princess to celebrate.

Sharing the lovely snaps on instagram a short while ago, the palace said:

“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share three new photographs of Princess Charlotte ahead of her fourth birthday.”

And like most pictures of Princess Charlotte, and her brothers George and Louis, they were captured by Kate Middleton.

“The photographs were taken in April by The Duchess at Kensington Palace and at their home in Norfolk.”

And as you can only imagine, followers of the family were quick to comment on the gorgeous pictures, wishing Princess Charlotte well.

Among those followers? Princess Charlotte’s aunt and uncle, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

They commented on one of the snaps: Happy birthday Charlotte! lots of love, H and M xo” with balloon and cake emojis.

Seems harmless, right?

Well, people seem to have a real issue with the fact that they didn’t use Charlotte’s full title.

One follower said:

“Even on Kensington Royal (her parents insta) she is referred to as Princess Charlotte. Meghan is just being disrespectful like she was to Prince Louis.”

Weird, how this person seems to know that Meghan wrote the comment herself…

Another wrote: “Even if they are related through Harry, she needs to call her Princess if other Royals call her that. This isn’t because they’re related, it’s respect.”

It all seems like a bit of an attack on Meghan, which is weird because the likelihood is she’s not writing the comments herself.

People need to chill.
