When we say related, we do mean that very loosely, but the pair have a history that goes way beyond their friendship.
A TikTok has emerged explaining their lengthy background, explaining just how deep their connection goes.
Asking Kendall herself, the person behind the camera asks her: “In as few a words as possible, can you explain to me how you are related to Gigi?”
Laughing, Kendall says: “So her stepdad is my half-brother’s stepdad…ex stepdad…does that make sense?”
Even more confused? Same. So let’s get into the details.
So, Gigi’s mum Yolanda married David Foster in 2011, but before he was married to her, he was married to Linda Thompson from 1991 to 2005.

And before Linda was married to David, she was married to Bruce Jenner before she identified as Caitlyn from 1981 to 1986 and they had two sons Brody and Brandon Jenner, who we know as Kendall’s half brothers.
So there you have it, nothing complicated about that, of course.
So Kendall’s brother’s stepdad is also Gigi’s stepdad, simple in Hollywood terms.
And while we know Hollywood can be complicated, even fans were left confused over this one.
