The pair left onlookers in no doubt that they were a couple by engaging in numerous displays of affection as they spent time with friends at Porto Cervo.
The news comes just months after Efron was seriously injured during an altercation on LA’s notorious Skid Row, which led to rumours of an ongoing drug problem. The High School Musical actor previously admitted that staying sober was a “neverending struggle” following a stint in rehab in 2013.
