Yesterday the news of actor and director Harold Ramis’ death shocked movie lovers all over the globe. The 69-year-old passed away from complications of autoimmune inflammatory vasculitis.
Linked to many famous comedies, Ramis is best known for his role as Dr. Egon Spengler in the 1980′s Ghostbuster hit film series.
Tributes to the late actor flooded in, with long-term friend and former co-star, Dan Aykroyd, leading the way.
However it was this poignant Ghostbusters animation by artist, Ash Vickers, that tugged at our heartstrings.
Uploaded onto Twitter in the early hours of this morning, Ash’s incredible drawing has been retweeted and favourited several thousand times.
Instead of Wednesday’s comic, this is what will be put up. I’m sharing it now because reasons. RIP Harold Ramis :_( pic.twitter.com/bV8daK8PD2
