‘Never have I ever had a boyfriend who was proud of my job’
Riley Reid has spoken out about how she was made to feel “disgusting” by her former partner who did not support her work in the adult entertainment industry.
The 31-year-old star, who is now married to freerunner Pasha Petkuns, previously gave an interview where she spoke about the complications of dating while working in porn, and finding a partner that would support, rather than judge her.
During a 2018 episode of the Impaulsive podcast, Reid said one ex would refuse to kiss her after she returned home from work.
She explained that he made her feel like a “disgusting person”, adding: “He made me feel like maybe I should quit and stuff.”
Reid went on to tell the podcast, hosted by Logan Paul, Mike Majlak, and George Janko, that her, then bf, “didn’t want to kiss me when I came home from work.
“So, like, [it] made me feel like a disgusting person,” she continued. “And I’m not disgusting! It’s harsh. It was so horrible when he told me that.”
Reid has been open about her past relationships and the way former partners had felt about her line of work. One, had even made her consider quitting porn.
Speaking in 2022, Reid said: “My ex was so anti-porn, I almost quit porn because I thought I hated porn, but then I realised I just hated him.”
And a year earlier, on Instagram, she wrote: “Never have I ever had a boyfriend who was proud of my job. I’ve had two ‘normal’ boyfriends in my adult life, normal being they don’t do porn.
“Both of which ended in an ultimatum, porn or them. I always chose porn. I’ve struggled with that choice though, wondering if I’ve made the right decision.”

But that likely all changed when she married Petkuns, who she now has a daughter, Emma, with.

Sharing a snap of her holding Emma in November, Reid praised her “amazing” husband, writing: “Forever thankful for my newly founded family. I love you and appreciate you endlessly @pashatheboss.
“You’re such an amazing husband to me and even better father to Emma. “You’re so present in every moment with both of us and I am so happy to spend everyday with you.
“Thank you for choosing me as your wife, best friend & life partner. “Thank you Emma for being the greatest thing to ever happen to me. I adore and love you more than you’ll ever know.”
