Celebrity publicist Max Clifford has been found guilty of eight counts of indecent assault.
This afternoon the jury at Southwark Crown Court in London cleared the 71-year-old of two counts and were unable to make a decision on another.
According to Sky News, members of his staff collapsed in tears when the verdicts were delivered. He is due to be sentenced on Friday.
Jurors have spent eight days discussing the allegations which span two decades and involve seven victims. Clifford had denied all charges.
He is the first person to be convicted under Operation Yewtree, an investigation launched by Scotland Yard into historic allegations of sexual offences.
