A previously unseen photo of Kate Middleton and Prince William.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge rarely show affection in public which is why their hand-holding at Princess Eugenie's wedding last year touched their many fans. They have been compared to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex more than once as in contrast,  they are very demonstrative and are almost always holding hands during their royal engagements. However, while Kate Middleton and Prince William keep their relationship out of the public eye, they are still undeniably head over heels for each other. A throwback photo recently shared on an Instagram fan account shows them gazing at each other in what can only be described as "a look of love". According to the International Business Times, one follower described it as "pure love" while another wished that everyone could find the same bond with their partner.

"They don’t even have to say a word to each other as their eyes, communicate the intense love, adoration, affection, friendship, trust, respect, and loyalty they both share with each other. I wish that all could find such chemistry with their chosen partners. It is an amazing gift and a priceless blessing".

The above photo dates back a few years, pre-marriage and children, but it's clear to see how they were smitten with each other from the very beginning. Kate Middleton and Prince William celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary in April and have three children together - George, Charlotte and Louis.
